Wednesday after work I really needed a hike, so even though I knew I'd probably get caught in the dark, I went for a 2 hour trek up to Royal Arch and back. Below are the pics from that hike. I was so inspired by that hike, that I took my friend Truman up for a little nighttime walk around Chautauqua on Thursday night. No pics from that night, but it was just as fun and beautiful. I just love looking out at the "city" of Boulder at night. Oh, and we saw a (the silhouette of) a large buck .. probably mule deer. Very cool, if someone scary. haha.
This weekend Jay from Rhode Island and his sister are in town. No idea what we're going to do, but I'm sure we'll find some trouble to get into! :-) Look for pics on Monday!
