I needed some good news today, so I created some. Instead of a now-canceled backcountry yurt trip, I will be going to San Diego next weekend! Not counting Meg's wedding, I haven't taken a vacation since April, when I went to San Francisco to visit Maia. Maia recently moved to San Diego, so what better opportunity to get out of town? I love spur-of-the-moment vacations! Especially when the involve palm trees and beaches. :-)
